Trip Reports - SEA-HEL-SEA-CDG-SEA $20 BA Fare Trip Report

It has taken us a ridiculously long time, but my husband and I have finally completed our trip report about back-to-back trips to Europe in late March/early April on the $20 BA fares. We managed to combine the low airfare with a great deal on stays at Scandic hotels using Hilton HHonors points, so it was truly a bargain trip.

The report is on my web site, MouseSavers.com, which is focused on Disney travel, so there's a large section on Disneyland Paris. However, there's plenty of stuff about the rest of our trip as well.

And my husband's writing is pretty darn funny -- or so his fans claim.

Again, very interesting report. Thanks for posting it. Having lived through metro strikes more than once, I particularly liked your description of the crowded RER back to Paris.

One correction though: it is perfectly legal to hail a taxi on the street in Paris, except if you're within 50 meters of a stand where free taxis are waiting. They can refuse you if you're not at a stand. This doesn't solve the problem of finding the stand, of course, or insure that they will stop for your hail.

Great report. I really enjoyed the two perpectives. Business class upgrade on a $20 fare. Unbelievable!!!

Outstanding report! You are right, the guy is funny. Glad to see that you are attempting to lift our Disney stock out of the douldrums.

And they wouldn't let me upgrade our $20 tickets to FRA with BA miles.

Now if only I could get my fiancee to write my next Trip Report (our Honeymoon to DUB in 5 weeks), we might just rival this sterling effort...class, sheer class (Mrs QF WP 2B isn't really into this FT thing, but I'm trying to teach her)...
