03/19 nw 1640 airbus 319 dep 0600 gt 9 arr 0751 gt b30 seat 1c
no elite or first class line at security at the delta term at lga so had to wait on line for about 10 mins. got to the gate and boarded at 0530 offered a drink and waited for take-off. after take off breakfast was served choice of cold cereal or eggs and sausage. took eggs and was served ice cold had to send it back to be heated up. capt came on pa and said he was not going to turn off the seatbelt sign as he expected a bumpy ride all the way to memphis

gate b25 is nowhere near b30 so for a long walk down one concourse and up another
never arrive hungy in memphis as the smell of cinnabon and barbeque waft thruout the terminal
got on board got my drink and waited for take off
breakfast was choice of cold cereal, french toast or eggs and sausage
had eggs again
capt said on pa he expected a smooth flight and half hour after takeoff it got bumpy all the way to sfo
note to the unwary at sfo there is a train that takes you to the rental car area
be prepared to add at least 30 min on the return
on the way back you have to go down to level one take a elevator or escalator back to level 4 wait for train get off at you terminal go down to level 1 and take moving sidewalk to terminal

apart from the fiasco of taking the air tran from rental cars to the terminal check in was smooth opted to use the f/c-elite line as no one was on line and etkt line was crowded
security had a f/c-elite line and breezed right thru
boarded plane had a drink and waited once again
breakfast was the same choice of cold cereal french toast or eggs and sausage
opted for the eggs
smooth flight all the way to msp
nw 510 msp-lga airbus 320 dep 1344 gt c16 arr 1721 gt 7 seat 4c
gate c1 to gate c16 is long walk down the c concourse also
got on plane offered a drink and waited again
lunch was pasta salad or deli sandwich
opted for the sandwich which was actually tasty for a change
all the flights arrived early
the 319 and 320 were surprisingly quiet aircraft although both flights on the 319 my ears were battered during descent
the 757 had awfully small overhead compartments
all seats were eua'd in advance
