Left JKF on time at 8:00 a.m. arrived on time at LGB 10:43 a.m.

Left LGB on time at 12 noon arrived 30 minutes early at 8:00 p.m.!

Excellent First Class Service both ways with Double Miles.

A very pleasant way to spend a Sunday!

Howell, I'm taking this flight next w/e. Still the old brown seats in F and old (non-headrest) seats in Y? What is the LGB airport like?

Sounds like you have been on this 757 before. I must say, however, that the flight attendants really worked hard both ways to make the trip and the meals rather pleasant. On the outbound, I don't think I have ever seen a larger piece of french toast for breakfast. On the return, the sundaes and baked cookies were a nice treat after a pretty decent lunch. I wish I had something nice to say about LGB airport: a functional trailer park. The check-in staff was clearly overwhelmed and security overzealous. I am headed back on Saturday, June 22nd for some more double miles! Hope to see ya!

What's wrong with LGB? Other than the *very* screwy intersection of Rwys. 7R/25L, 14R/26L, and 12/30, it seems OK to me.

LGB is Long Beach, CA. For the locals, the airport is very convienent plus only $3 to $6 a day to park. Small terminal but adding on due to JetBlue.

Just got upgraded! Seat 2B outbound, Seat 3E return. Where are you sitting?

Regarding loads, JFK to LGB, there was a total of 6 paxs in First Class, LGB to JFK, fully booked! Coach looked less thanhalf full both ways.

Newself thank you for the info. If I am correct Alaska Airlines cut its flights there a few years ago. Now it is going through a mini boom.
