I think security waiting times are now becoming more practical. When will they start letting us lookyloo visitors back in?

As I recall from the American board.... at AA's hub airports at least, you can use your Admirals Club card to get past security even if you don't have a ticket. The point of the new security restrictions is to keep out people who have no reason to be there... it is not to allow ticketed passengers ONLY, but rather to limit the number of persons passing through the checkpoints to cut down on the mess caused by the extra time-consuming checks.

I have yet to try my card at the checkpoint to get to my lounges. I have a Priority Pass card, good for Delta and Northwest at LAX, but I can see them being picky. I will give it a try. Miss the Worldclub and the cookies so much!!!

Couple of notes:

The routine with an Admiral's Club membership (remember the card!) actually works, at DFW at least.

And, FWIW, security at Terminal C @ DFW took me all of 5 minutes on Friday evening and Sunday afternoon, with a search included both times.
