Man these are great.

Re: the AA Flagship Lounge at LHR T3

The last time I was there they had either one or two showers not none, sort of right around to the left as you come in (that little alcove thing)

also there was another (1 of 2 total) TV's at the far end/corner, you go in turn right to the sitting area (past the food), and then left down that room/area/place there was another one.

I know the one you mean in the enclosed glass sitting lounge.

I thought that was just a quiet reading room/library, and not for smoking.

Great Job!

Great Job!</font>

The last time I was there, I was told by the staff that the showers were out of order and they called the Admirals Club to see if I could use theirs. The showers in the Admirals Club were ugly and not luxurious as those in UA's Arrivals Facilities at LHR.

Thanks for the trip reports!

They are wonderful and I really look forward to reading more of them.

Sorry to hear about your disappointed service on TG. I agree with you if TG doesn't do anything to its premium service, it will be way behind from the competition.

BTW, interested in hearing about your Thai news. Is it cheaper to issue RTW tickets in TPE now?

Thanks,
Carfield

TFung,

Thank you so much for the interesting trip reports. I love reading about people's travels and you add some interesting details to them, which I like...

I also like how you have been comparing things since 9/11, as we want to see how things have changed.

I hate(and loathe) the idea of plastic silverware altogether, but especially in J and F classes, this is just too cheap and a real turn off. The hint has been made that plastic has been used for economic reasons, not safety, as the knives are cheap and one can do much more damage with other items.

Thanks for all of your hard work, Happy New Year, and I am looking forward to hearing more. I will be happy when you tell me that the airlines have returned to using real cutlery, especially CX...

great reports, I'm learning from you!

The plastic cutlery defeats the object. I managed to cut myself on a plastic knife! Anyway, they still use glassware, so is a broken glass with a jagged edge not dangerous?

I've seen that Parking lot before. Looks like somewhere in Medford, near Tufts?

if you guys all miss the silver knives up front, then fly sq in j class sin-mle. full silverware was on offer in december with the cockpit door left open more than once for several minutes. the hkg-sin sectors had the plastic, though....i guess only beachgoers go the maldives?
