They offered an e-saver for $279 this weekend, and decided to take it. Needed to replenish my supply of pretzels and Tastycakes.

Surprisingly there were only a few open seats on this flight. Turns out there was a group of 8th graders heading for DC for the week. Luckily I was able to upgrade.. Boarding started at 6:15, and we were all loaded and ready to go at 6:45 when we promptly pushed back. My seatmate was Gervase from Survivor. We chatted for a few mintues while on the ground and that was it. I left the man alone.
We were a few mintues lat taking off, there was a pressurization indicator light which came on, but they were able to fix it. Took off to the west and made the turn back east around Palos Verdes for the 4hr and 25 mintue flight to PHL. There was cloud cover for most of the flight, and a few scattered minor bumps here and there, nothing major. Seat belt sign turned off after breakfast in the main cabin was finished and stayed off until final approach.
Main cabin movie was Finding Forrester, but up in First we had all of the movies offered on the international portion. I watched, or should say tried to watch Winning Numbers, and then got through about 3/4 or Almost Famous before we started to land and they had to turn it off.
Breakfast was a choich of cheese omlett, franch toast and cereal. I chose the french toast, which was a big mistake. Too doughy and not a big portion. Omlette looked bigger and better. Sara Lee bananna nut muffin and croissant's were also offered. About 90 minutes out they came through with a snack of that manufactured chicken breast. with potato salad. Man that thing is putrid! As usual, drinks were offered throughout the flight.

First trip on a 321! Again I was able to upgrade, and got a whole row to myself. There were 2 open seats up front many open seats in the back, and the flight crew took up residence in the last row of coach.
Overall first impression, it isn't that bad an airplane. The FC galley is larger than the 319/320. It has 2 ovens, and more work space, similiar to the Boeings. The coat closet is by 1L, but the valet closet is behind row 6 on the right side, and serves as the divider between FC and coach. There are 3 lavs in the main cabin. One in front of 3L, and 2 in in front of the rear galley.
There is no divider on the right side of the main cabin. As a result, it kind of looks like a 727-100, with the bathroom being smack in the middle of the cabin, and an unobstructed view of the entire main cabin on the right side. Doors 2 & 3 are not full size doors, but not plugs like door 3 on the 757. The rear galley is the same size as on the 319/320. 2 F/A's sit a 1L, 1 @ 2R, 1@3L and 2 in the rear galley, with an extra jumpseat back there.
Doesn't have as much power as a 757, which we knew. Did manage to climb fairly fast today, engines didn't seem to scream as much as they frequently do on the smaller busses. No vibration on rotation either, as there frequently is on the 757.
Movie was Family Man, not bad, and then I dived into my book, Larry Kane's Philadelphia. My audio channels didn't work on either seat in my row. Not that big a loss, I thought that the audio selection wasn't that good this cycle.
Being Passover, I had a special meal. It was a stuffed chicken breast with stuffing. Also came with some fruit cup and a pastry. It wasn't that bad, better than the regular kosher meal Wilton has. Dessert was ice cream sundae's, which they set up on the cart along with coffee and aperetifs. It was nice to see that the cart is still used. I know some F/A's hate it, but it gives a nice touch to the service. About an hour out they came through wit a final drink service.
