Its been nearly a week without my FlyerTalk fix -- have I missed anything (other than the Catman Do Trois http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif?

I am currently in the Silver Chris lounge in BKK awaiting flight SQ63 to SIN. My God, this place is hot http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/eek.gif ! I guess references to Thai food as hot, hotter, and inferno could equally apply to the weather.

Its been an interesting, if short, trip. I'll be spending the night in SIN, and then start the long journey back to PDX on Wednesday morning. On the way home, it looks like there will be a mini FT gathering in NRT; all are welcome should anyone else be in the vicinity of the larger NRT RCC on Wednesday afternoon.

As soon as the smoke (and sweat) clears, I hope to be able to grab some time for a full trip report in the next week or so. Regarding my flights so far, suffice it to say that service in Y on SQ nearly beats anything UA offers in C.

Talk you all later; this connection is awfully slow...

Well, it is summertime in Thailand. Schools are closed till May, when the asphalt takes longer to melt. This year there has been an uncharacteristically large amount of rain in the Bangkok area, which has actually kept the temperatures about 5F cooler than normal!
