I forgot to mention that the Drill Sergeant/Purser made an amusing announcement prior to landing. He had the customary list of connecting flight information, but he omitted certain vital details such as the GATES! He did, however, provide us with the number of passengers destined for each connecting flight. His announcement sounded like this:
"Flight 2450 to Edinburgh, two passengers.
Flight 2451 to Copenhagen, six passengers.
Flight 2452 to Dusseldorf, two passengers.
This is all of the information I have."
Why on earth would he make this lengthy announcement? It served no purpose! I suppose nobody was going to bring this up with him in fear of reprisal.
