Our luggage was quickly unloaded from the hotel shuttle while we waited in line to check-in. There was a 10-minute wait to check-in. The bell staff served fruit juices and cookies as we waited in line.
The hotel lobby was very clean and nicely decorated. The flower arrangements were impressive. There is a centerpiece in the middle of the lobby, which consisted of more than 100 fresh roses.
When we checked in, we were asked to fill out an information card. We were upgraded to a larger room with a king bed though our reservation was for two double beds. This was a minor inconvenience as they were able to switch us to a room with two double beds. The room was very clean, modern, and offered the usual amenities. Since we had a very early flight the next day, we asked for a wake-up call and inquired about the hotel shuttle. The hotel shuttle is available 24 hours a day.
We got our wake-up call the next day. Video check out was not offered so we went to the front desk to check out. While we were checking out, we were served freshly brewed coffee and croissants. The hotel shuttle was ready and we were taken to the airport promptly.
The check-in and checkout process could be shorter and more efficient. However, the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff made this short visit very pleasant. The quality of this property's product is far superior to any Four Points Hotel I have ever stayed in. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Quito. A-
