Trip Reports - LAX-SFO-YVR-JFK-FRA-BCN-ORY-LHR-LAX PART ONE

First of all this board is great. I am sitting in the Admirals club in SFO after flying in from LAX on my way to HOPEFULLY earning 2 100K promos on the one world alliance. Took first class from LAX on AA. Service was non existant and drinks came in plastic cups. This MD-80 was not the new MD 80 but the old one from RENO AIR. Seats however were comfortable. Took 48 minutes to get to SFO. Will keep you up to date on my First Class trip on the above itinerary. As the flights get more interesting, so will these real time reports. Take care

Since I'll be taking the CX from YVR to JFK (but the AA codeshare on IB from JFK to BCN) next month, I'll be very interested in some of your experiences. Bon voyage.

For YVR-JFK, CX offers a lunch and snack service. On first class, you are served a full course lunch, with an antipasto buffet, a soup, salad, four choices of entrees, cheese and fruit, and dessert... Prior to arrival, you will serve some kinds of refreshments -- noodles, cookies and hors d'oeuvre. For Business Class, a full course lunch with appetizer, salad, three entree choices, cheese and fruit, dessert, and chocolate will be served... prior to arrival, there will be a refreshment of cookie, ice-cream... For Y class, there will be a lunch with three choices, appetizer, and dessert and warmed rolls.
