I made PC on December 24 of 2003. I got my membership card today and it expires on April of 2004? So is that really the case? Are they cutting me off after 4 months? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/mad.gif

No you will get a new card in March or so giving you status till April 05. They do not send out the kits ahead of time like some airlines or other co's. Technically Hertz does not offer 5* or PC ahead of time, but will do so if asked. Your benefit year is May - April, they just upgraded you early.

I received my PC card yesterday after qualifying in December ... expiry date 04/04 is the SAME as yours!!! I was more than a little perplexed at first thinking there must be a mistake ... but then I remember only getting my 5* card last April, and I think I remember a thread similar to this 12 months ago and someone saying Hertz sent out new cards in April. So, I'm suspect we got cards to tide us over until April when they do the full run of new cards. Perhaps it seems somewhat silly. But whatever! I must say, though, the luggage tag with PC engraved on it is rather stylish .. it will find a home on one of my bags very soon! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif PS. Your card isn't that big a deal. It's on your profile. I've never had to pull out my card. If and when I've ever gone up to a counter, they have never asked me for it. So you will still get the service of the PC and it will be good until next year.
And yes, my card also says expires 04/04. I didn't look at this when I got it cause it wasn't that big to me. Just make sure they see you as a PC in the profile and all will be fine.

I got my card in the mail a couple of weeks ago...it expires 4/05
