We've already established that Columbus, Ohio and Lincoln, Nebraska don't offer ZE1. Anyone know of any other locations not offering Hertz points? I haven't seen this information on the Hertz web site.

...HUGE flaw to the system in that there's no MASTER list available to us, and no way to know until it's too late.

The only one I can remember is:
Hattiesburg, MS

That's why I started this thread! ;)

In my experience, you should be wary about locations that print your contract on an old dot-matrix printer. If they have the new printers that spit the contracts out like airline tickets, you are probably OK. Of course, if you are that close to the counter, you could probably ask.

You're assuming the 17 year old counter agent knows what ZE1 means!

ZE1 is the "code" for Hertz points so that your rental earns Hertz points instead of frequent flier or hotel points or whatever else.

You can call Gold service and have them add ZE1 to your profile if you want the default to be that you earn Hertz points on every rental.
