What was the total cost? $37 or $57? How did you manage the upgrade? Were they offering the special or what? If I hadnt lost my license, I would have rented the car (not my wife) and I would have used my Gold status to bypass the counter. Thus I would have never have heard about this special b/c I would not have gone to thte counter. Is there any way to hear about these day of specials without going to the counter? Beckles Feb 12, 04, 3:21 pm It's called an upsell ... quite common really in the rental car industry in general ... obviously when you use express service you usually skip the point where you're offered the upsell, but you could always stop in the office and ask if they have any specials. |
