Hertz - Prestige Collection

Can someone tell me what model does Hertz offer?

Volvo S80: 2.9 or T6?

Lincoln LS: V6 or V8?

Btw, does Hertz carry XC90 in Prestige Collection?

I have only seen the LS in V8 guise at Hertz.

The S80s I have looked at have been 2.9s.

Had an S80 a few weeks ago and it was NOT a T6. It did have a ton of miles on it though...something like 15K. Looked worn and tired.

The Volvo S80 is the 2.9 litre version. I imagine the XC70 is the lower-spec engine, as well. The XC90 is not on the list, but some locations carry different cars (FL locations are getting the Infiniti G35, for example).

The Lincoln LS has the V8 and most of the trimmings - I find it the best value in the Prestige collection.

On the flip side, the Jaguar S-Type is the 3.0 liter engine (though it is more powerful then the same engine in the LS).

The XJ8 has the V8, and the X-Type the 3.0 six.

Only other PC vehicle I rent is the Navigator, and it's pretty high-spec as well.

The G35 is not a PC car. It's a YG that can usually be rented for Crown Vic money.

I've had a 4.0 V8 from FLL. Nice car.

I, too, had a V-8 Jaguar S-Type- in IAH. A nice $20/day upgrade.
