Hertz - Gonna miss PC by 2 rentals.

I called Hertz yesterday and asked twice how many rentals I was at. I was told by 3 different customer service agents that I had 37 as of October 22. I thought that was high but after 3 different acknowledgments, I accepted this information. I called back tonight to just be sure and sure enough, the agent told me that I had 37 rentals (not including the one I am on now) with the last one showing as 2 weeks ago (my last actual rental until this week). I am now http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/mad.gif because I will loose PC when I intended to rent a car each day this week (3 rentals) and get PC. I am sure I will call a supervisor and explain the situation. What are the recommendations from the board? Let me know as I am going to do something because this 40 rental policy stinks. Thanks.

As long as you contacted the actual Gold service department and not res the information they gave you should be correct. If you called reservations then it may or may not be accurate. I believe they are on a different system and are not connected directly to the gold service computer. So it is possible it may be off a little bit. They just started the program a few months ago with the reservation center being able to see how many rentals that you have so its possable there may still be a bug or two still. Just a thought.
