Hi All,

I read somewhere that Canadian renters requir less rentals to reach either 5* or PC ?

Does this apply for other countries as well ?

Thanks

Hertz Germany requires 10 rentals for 5* and 30 rentals for PC... is this different from the states?

I will end the year with 36 rentals and weekend rentals are somewhat pricey for last-minute mileage runs in my area. So if I were to change my address to a Canadian relative's address, would that work? Do I need a Canadian license?

Should do the trick quite nicely.

"Do I need a Canadian license?"

Nope

Also, the UK and Australia both require 30 rentals. The other big thing about Hertz #1 Gold between US/Canada and the rest of the world is that it is free to join everywhere else other than US/Canada, so anyone thinking of joining up can save themselves $50 by quoting a non US/Canadian address
