I was pricing a prestige rental with my AA FF disc# and my AAA discount number. The weekly rental for AAA is 509.99, with taxes and fees, my total weekly rate was calculated as 612.08. When I used my AA FF discount # the weekly rate was $539.99, with taxes and fees, my total was $589.82. Isn't that strange? Should I expect any surprises when I pay for this rental or is there some hocus pocus with the taxes and fees depending on what discount you use?
