Hertz - New Hertz Presidents Circle Card ....

Am I the only one who EVERY year has to call Hertz to get my renewed card??? Never seems to come automatically

They sent me a new President's Circle card, but the expiration date was for THIS MONTH. I had to call up to get them to send me a new one (which I haven't received yet). Fortunately I almost never have to show the card since everything is online.

I came here to post a new thread but I'll just use this one instead.

I just got my PC card a couple weeks ago (first time member) and I was wondering what else should have come with it. I thought I had heard other people mention coupons or certificates for free days or upgrades. Should I have gotten something like that in the envelope also? Will they be sent seperately? I did get some luggage tag straps which are way better than the junk Delta sent out to Platinum members (but that is a whole other issue). Thanks.

Just a quick question as you guys were making your way to PC....

I am a new 5* member, do they send anything out for that? Also, what proof do you have that you're a 5*, is it supposed to show up in your profile or anything like that when you log into the web site?

I've been in President's Circle since it started and have *never* received a card from them. I've also not received a Hertz Gold card except for the one they sent when they first started the program a decade or so ago.

Last week they sent me two President's Circle packets. They arrived one day apart in the mail. Each envelope had one card and they both have the same expiration date and account number. I guess I have a backup now.

When I first qualified for PC I never got a card. It took 6 months and 3 phone calls. 3 months before I got to wondering and a call a month until I got it. This year it just came automatically.

I've gotten a President's Circle card every year since the program started. That combined with getting Marriott special offers every quarter makes me feel pretty **** good. heheh.

Of course last year I don't think I even qualified for 5* .. so I don't really know what I am.. last rental had the free upgrade and was the President's Circle area so maybe they kept me on board. After a fling with National I'm returning back to Hertz as I've found ways to make them competitive rate-wise.

Called Hertz a couple of weeks ago to ask if I was 5* yet, CS agent said I was. I then asked for a new card. Got it one week later with 2004 exp. and a free day coupon.

Hertz must be reading this board. I got my first ever Presidents Circle card in the mail last week...having been a member since the program started. Go figure!

I signed up with Hertz at the end of February and just made PC last week. I have yet to even recieve a welcome package from them. Do I call the regular 800-263-0600 number or is there a special PC number to try and get a card (and the free cert http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif )?

You rented 40 times in 60 days? That's impressive.

If you call 800-CAR-GOLD, they'll get you connected to the right person (or give you right number) for getting a card sent out.
I wouldn't expect it to show up without a call.

Sorry to disapoint but Canada only requires 20 rentals. Still not bad though http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

The only problem is that my wife LOVES THE VOLVO's on the weekends. Agghhhh. I can't afford one of those. I'm gone 2/3 weeks as it is. I guess she could have one if I were to travel 3/3 weeks. Wait a minute..... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Got a new PC card in the mail the other day good thru 4/04. I still wish they'd put some kind of "# of rentals counter" on your profile so you can keep track...
