Check the "special offers" section of the Hertz web site. There is a free day code and a $25 off code.

just beware, the employees at this location vary wildly, from clueless and rude to sweet like honey and perfection embodied. weekend nights especially i've had insanely good luck.

the Gold staff is actually less useful, and they always pretend not to know about e-coupons (ie 9xx... ones) and this location seems to have problems more than any other. to the point i've had it noted in the record and they still mess it up.

lately, i've been renting from National (yeah, yeah, i know) in SEA with much better results and with less snotty (but also less wonderful at times) employees. they don't exactly give the earthly paradise that is the Pacific Northwest a good name, and it's weird that the SEA airport location is so far below standards oftentimes.

plus they always try to give me GM cars even though Taurii are available and there's a NO GM bit in my Gold profile.

This is more of an issue with Hertz in general, than in SEA. They often incorrectly calculate the bill upon returning the car (in their favor, of course), and when you point it out, they say things like, "Oh, I didn't see that in there. I'll fix it."

Just one of Hertz's underhanded revenue generating tactics. They hope the customer doesn't notice. I'm wise to it, so I watch them like a hawk.

Since Hertz is now nearly 30% more than Avis, even though I hate GM cars, it's off to Avis for this PC member. I got tired of the usual indifferent and sometimes lousy treatment at Hertz.
