I'm interested in these as well http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif It seems as though all the coupons I've come across required you to return the car to the pick up location.

Bumping this topic up - anyone had any luck finding PC#s that work with one-way rentals?

00931571 errored and said it needed a specific CDP number ... 69212 said PROMOTION COUPON NOT VALID ... what is the CDP you folks are using with these, and what group does it represent?

Thanks!

Do you have a choice of company to use on your 1-way? (Or is it now too late?)

I've done about a half-dozen one-way rentals in my life, and I've *never* been able to get a competitive rate out of Hertz, with or without a coupon. I'm a loyal Hertz PC member, so I check there first, but they just don't like to send their cars one-way, I guess.

National and Budget have previously won my business for one-way rentals based on price alone. (In some cases, there was a 100% difference such as Nat $200 vs. Hertz $400.)

Ditto to what pinniped said. I have used Avis in the past for much cheaper one-way rates as well.

FWIW, there is a double upgrade coupon for 1 way rentals in the '03 Entertainment book.

I just tried getting a quote from Hertz.com with the above codes and got a response that said "MINIMUM RENTAL PERIOD NOT MET FOR THIS PROMOTION COUPON". I only need the car for one day (and one-way). Is this the problem? Are there any codes that get around this? Thanks!
