Hertz - New Hertz.com

I started stumbling through the new Hertz site today. It will take some getting used to, but I noticed these improvements:

- Can log into Gold Account directly from the home page

- Has a list of receipts from prior reservations which you can retrieve by date

I am struggling a bit with getting a handle on the "My Trips" function. The only way I have been able to associate an existing reservation with a newly created "Trip" is by modifying the reservation.

A new feature that I like is the way you can start a reservation and go back an retrieve it without having to enter in all the information all over. For instance you can change dates around or enter new promo codes etc a lot easier than before. Also, being able to store my frequent flyer CDP #'s and such is convienent so I can just choose which one I want to use depending on what I want. Very nice.

Nice features but a bit slow. Also if you make a reservation on this site and cancel the reservation over the phone, your reservation will stay on the "Review/Modify exisiting reservation" list.

My three biggest issues with the new site are:
1. It is small!! It doesn't take up the entire browser window and it make readability very difficult!
2. Reservation process is now six steps where it used to be three. This really slows it down because of screen refesh rates and internet speed.
3. LOTS of java script errors, and basically very slow!

Please the new "features" just aren't worth this!
