Avis - Preferred select coupon means counter?

So if I use one of the preferred select coupons (the ones that look like MUDA### on the web site), does this mean that I have to stop at the rental counter at some point?

In other words, if I use a coupon, can I no longer get dropped off by the avis bus right at the car?

Sure you can. All you have to do though is give your coupon to the check-out booth agent when you present your driver's license.

You either get it adjusted when you arrive or leave. If you are leaving early at a location that isn't open when you leave,do it when you arrive. Figure an extra 5 minutes either way.
