Avis - Oakland, CA rental

Any special deals or experiences for Oak - I am heading up there for 2 days and currently have a premium hoping to get upgraded.

Just be aware that this week they have moved the rental "trailers" to a rental station off the airprot property. You now need to take a shuttle bus. Its not that too inconvenient if you know what to expect. The bus picks up just on the other side of the road, before where the trailers used to be.

I had a National rental. Good Luck

My luck even renting Premium is not good at all in OAK. Buick Park Ave's....yuck...

I rent at SFO b/c of the almost auto Premium to Caddy upgrade...
