Hello,
I'm a reporter for a national personal finance magazine working on a consumer-focused story about the rental car industry. I'm looking to speak to anyone whose driving record has ever prohibited them from renting a car and how the rental company treated this situation. I'm also interested in speaking to people who may have been in a wreck with a rental car and had the CDW/LDW they bought voided because of some loophole, such as not wearing your seatbelt or driving in any "imprudent manner," or who was charged "loss-of-use" fees. I will probably post this in a couple of other frequently hit rental car company boards, so I apologize ahead of time for any overlap.
