Other Car Rental Programs/Partners (ie. Alamo, Enterprise, Sixt) - Alamo never posts miles promptly, if ever!

Every time I rent from alamo it becomes a paper, fax and phone chase to get the miles credited.
I am so frustrated with this company I think I will stop using them again. I actually stopped renting from them for over 18 months because of this same problem.
When I complained yesterday, the agent told me it was their policy...I replied that their policy was wrong and that it lost customers and created hard feelings.so much for good policies that make the customer happy and content to do business with them again.
Has anyone else experienced mileage chase with this company and what have you done about it?
Regards,
Robert

I rented an Alamo car one day at LAX picking up Sat 2/21 returning Sunday a.m. 2/22 and today (2/24 Tues) it was posted to my account
02/21/04 ALAMO 1 DY LOS ANGELES 50 0 50
This is typical for Alamo for me anyway.. seldom does it take more than 3 days to post.. not sure what is going on with you guys though

Could the Alamo location or airline partner be the determining factor?

I have also had super quick postings from Alamo to WN. Often, it is as fast or faster than the flight credit itself!

I'll test the airport factor this weekend. I have a one day rental at IAH on Saturday. Lets see if this posts as fast as the LAX rentals do (to AA)

As a follow up to the previous thread, the IAH miles posted accurately and promptly.... however Last weekend I had booked the double AAdvantage Miles (100 miles per day) when you rent a midsize or greater car in the US or Canada thru 12/31/04 using ID number 306703 and Rate Code AN
I booked using this code and ID number which came out to the same price if I didn't use any code.. so I said why not.. Well my 50 miles per day (X3 = 150 total miles) posted promptly. However the bonus miles did not post. AA tells me to contact Alamo.. Alamo says I must 8 weeks.. go figure

Ditto for me with Alamo to WN. It sounds like your problems might be related to your choice of airline partner.
