Other Car Rental Programs/Partners (ie. Alamo, Enterprise, Sixt) - Alamo at MDW

Anyone have any experience with them at Chicago's Midway airport? I usually always use Avis but this time Alamo is considerably less expensive. Are the onsite or is there a long shuttle?

Just used them this past week with no problems. The location is a very small little hut that houses both Alamo & National. They have a counter in the airport where you can do your paperwork and then take the shuttle.

The shuttle is probably the shortest shuttle I have ever taken! It is practically walking distance.

It is not a huge operation so I suppose there could be times when lines get long.

There were very few cars on the lot when I got there so I had to wait a few extra minutes for them to retrieve a car and run it through the carwash. Got a bigger car than I paid for.

They don't have the little handheld computerse to check you in so that takes a few extra minutes.

If you are a Costco member, note there is a Costco with a fuel station rather close to the airport (south of Midway on Cicero).

Just wanted to say that I was pleased with this Alamo Franchise and their honest employees. About an hour after I dropped the car off, I realized that I had left my cell phone in the car. I missed my flight but returned by shuttle to the location to find the phone being held in the manager's office. A compliment to the Alamo employees at this location!
