Other Car Rental Programs/Partners (ie. Alamo, Enterprise, Sixt) - Orlando to Miami

I will be in Orlando from Aug 17-24, and then stay in Palm Beach from Aug 24-31 - going on to Miami on Aug 31 for my flight departure.

I have last rented from Orlando many years ago, when its rental location was off the airport terminal site, when its lines were 2 hrs long (I am not a member of its frequent car rental program), and when its shuttles between its location and the airport terminal, on those particular occasions (including 5 AM, for a 6 AM plance departure, were not all that frequent). In the interim, I have become an Emerald Club member, and rented from National.

The question is now that the Alamo rental desk has moved to the airport terminal building, its cars are located in the parking garage. I wonder whether it is more practical to rent from Alamo for one week, and National for the second week (without drop off fees for the latter, I do not know about the former), or rent from Alamo only (I have access to a Disney Club discount of 20% plus one free child's character breakfast certificate), or rent for 2 weeks from National (and get the good Emerald Club rates).

I rented from Alamo in MCO last week and did the MIA drop off as well. Alaomo was great. The desk is right downstairs from bag claim and you walk right accross to the cars. The line was 6 people when I got there but there were 5 agents working. I was less than 5 minutes from entering the line to being in the car. Plus you get to pick your own car within the class you rented. Highly recommend based on my experience.
