Starwood Preferred Guest - Bonus 2,000 Points for 2 Stays

Awhile back, I got this popup box while going on the starwood website advertising that I could get a bonus 2,000 points if I booked and stayed to stays before 29 Feb.

I no longer get this popup. How can I register for this promotion, or has it ended already?

i think it's 1K per 2 stays with a max of 2K unless there are multiple promotions running around.

here was my registration confirmation:

"THANK YOU FOR REGISTERING FOR OUR CURRENT PROMOTION.

You can earn 1,000 bonus Starpoints(R) when you book 2 stays online at SPG.com. Simply book by February 16 and stay by February 29, 2004, to receive this offer.

You can earn a maximum of 2,000 bonus Starpoints during this promotion."

O.K., this sounds like the right promo. But, how do I register for it? Or, do I just simply book and the points will appear later?

I am also interested in signing up for this promo. I missed the pop up. What is it called, what should I ask for when calling to register?

Yep, already tried calling prior to posting this thread. No one here at the Customer Service in Hong Kong knows what promo I'm talking about.

So, can anyone post a link here to register for the promo?

I need 2000 - 2500 pts for the BA promo. Someone post a link! :-) Where's Starwood Lurker with all the information and codes??

I called the SPG hotline in SIN and got added in within minutes.

O.K., I've actually been able to find another thread in the Starwood forum which talks about this promotion. I do not know how to post the link here, so just do a search for "1,000 bonus points when stay 2 times", and the thread should be there. In the posts, FlyerTalker "Concourse B" actually gives a link to the promo!!!!! Apparently, this links works for some, but not for others. I've just tried and now I'm registered! Good luck to all of you.

Has anybody been credited for the bonus points for this yet? I was targeted...and had two stays right away. No bonus points yet.

I called *wood last week (since I booked 4 stays and stayed the 4 times). Was told that they would have to see what computer I booked it on since their computer showed that I booked it wrong (booked on spg.com from the Sheraton hotel. Never received the points as of today. A bit frustrating since it was booked on their website and all of the conditions have been met.

I haven't received the bonus points yet either.

Can Starwood Lurker confirm when the points will be posted to our accounts.

I have been thinking about this for a week as mine haven't posted either. The stays were completed at the beginning of Feb and I know that I registered for the promo as well.

There will be one sweep 3 - 4 weeks after the earning period ended on February 29th. So, if you haven't gotten your JFB web booking bonus as of the 28th of March, contact us through the Customer Contact Center for follow-up on March 29th.

By the way, the booking period ran from January 14 - February 16, 2004 for stays completed between January 14th and February 29th.
