AZ Travels the World Feb 25, 04, 9:07 am It can definitely create confusion. I've had to sort out the points & stay credit issue with hotels more than once. It just happened to me last month at the Sheraton Towers in Hong Kong. On the other hand, I've had situations where I had no problems at all. To make things easier, be sure you, as the member, stay in the revenue room if you are concerned about receiving a stay credit. Or, if you can, keep the multiple rooms in your own name so that there is no problem receiving appropriate credit for at least one room. This can be tricky in many foreign countries, where they'll ask for the passports of the room occupants and their names suddenly end up replacing yours on the reservation and paperwork. |
