I was advised by the hotel that they put Plat. members on the 9th floor and afford members cocktails there and free breakfast in the cafe downstairs.

Just curious - does the hotel also do this for members booking under local HKG travel agent rates ?

They really put Plats all over if you ask me. The first time I was there I was in a 6th floor suite. During my visit last week I was in a 10th floor suite. Floors 8-10 are considered Starwood Preferred Guest Preferred Floors. The 8th and 10th floors are non-smoking designated floors, while the 9th is smoking. Can't answer your question about the breakfast and cocktails if booked through a local HKG travel agent as my two stays were booked at spg.com.

i think there is an existing thread for this property already.

but, i believe there are two lounge areas. the first is for Towers guests only. this property won't upgrade a platinum guest to Towers...it must be paid for.

excluding the Towers lounge, i believe there is a regular lounge but don't quote me on it because i have only stayed in the Towers.

if you can get a good rate, it's worth the extra scratch.

The regular lounge is in room 915. Hours are 7am - midnight.
