Starwood Preferred Guest - Late Check-Out at EZE Park Tower??
Next week I'll be in BA at the Park Tower for a quick 2 night stay. My problem is my flight back to the US leaves at 10:30pm, so I assume I'd need to leave the city around 7pm (the hotel is providing a complimentary car service to the airport). Does anyone have any experience as to how late this property will allow 'a late check out', or if they offer 1/2 price rates? I'm paying US$185, which I know is a discounted level for each of my 2 nights & if necessary I'll go an additonal $185 for the 'partial' third, but looking for ideas to avoid it.
Thanks!

I have stayed at the Park Tower numerous times, and they have always been very helpful regarding late check outs. I believe the latest I have asked for was 4 PM, but I wouldn't be surprised if they extended that to 5 or 6 for you. I'm guessing it will all depend on their occupancy rate and your status with Starwood.
You'll love this hotel.

FYI, just got back from my stay here and I must say the hotel staff (& the hotel) was fantastic. I was met (as my reservation stated) by a complimentary car at 10am and was thus given no problem with an early arrival. The driver game me a quick tour of the city before leaving me at the hotel, which is connected to the regular Sheraton Convention Center hotel. I just had to show my passport at one of the desks (no regular registration desk at the Park Tower), they asked if I'd like a beverage and told me I'd been upgraded to a suite (Bseller, no one asked for my AAA card--which I do have). I did tell them I would be checking out a day earlier, but still at 7:30 pm and fully assumed that I'd be paying for 2 days--but I got a nice surprise upon checking out--being charged only for 1 day (US$185, which included full breakfast & the above mentioned complimentry car service to & from the airport). I was given a beautiful suite on the 3rd fl (rm 350) and found a full bottle of Malbec wine, and a large platter of fruit, cheese, candy & nuts along with a nice letter from the Manager.
One thing, which the Park Tower does not have a lounge the Sheraton does--right next door and you don't even have to leave the building to get to it! All floors at the PT have access to the Sheraton, the lounge is on the 22 fl of the Sheraton proper and offers full buffet breakfasts as well as wonderful cocktails and appitizzers in the evening. No one asked for my room number or if I was a guest at the Sheraton, but as I'm a Platinum and the 2 hotels seem to share lots of public spaces I assumed I could use it, and did not have any problem. I found the hotel very convienient to public transporation (the Subte) as well as to the main shopping areas and other restaurants and sights. As I mentioned, I was very suprised when I went to check out and found that I was only charged for one day even though effectively I was there from Sat morning at 10am through Sunday evening almost 8pm. If I can figure out how to post some pics here of the room I'll do so.

My understanding is that as long as you tell the front desk that you are leaving early, you are not liable for an early departure fee. However, this could be an issue if you arrive and the hotel's cancellation policy requires several days previous notification.

Glad to read this property has kept its standards up. It is one of my favourites. The lounge used to be on one of the lower levels, covered by a glass ceiling. Quite the place to have breakfast and drinks.
