Starwood Preferred Guest - Sheraton LAX - New Room Furniture?

When I last stayed at this property (late last year) the Front Desk told me the facility was scheduled for remodel (i.e. new furniture in all rooms - especially Club Level).

Has anyone seen this new furniture yet?

Yes. The Sheraton Sweet Sleeper beds have already been installed on the 15th (Club) floor and in some of the suites on lower floors. I believe the entire property will be converted to these beds which are far superior to the outdated beds. I've been fortunate in being able to u/g as Plat. to one of the corner suites on almost all stays and as of 2 wks. ago, no change in the rest of the suite furniture, but I've always liked the blonde wood/glass table/sofa layouts in those rooms and don't feel anything else is needed. The new bed is great, though.
