I'm curious if anyone has ever booked more than one room on an award at this hotel, or similar resorts. I will have be trying to book 3 award rooms for the same period in late 2004 and wonder if there's a limit on how many rooms you can book; or does the "you have the points, we have a room, you get it" promise extend to multiple rooms?

Additionally, how far in advance can award rooms be booked? Just curious.

Thanks

shinbal,
I booked 4rooms x 5 nights at St Regis/Aspen (very short notice; less than 45 days) last winter, and have done 4rooms x 6 nights at Westin/Whistler for this winter (9mo+ notice). So, I know for sure 4x simultaneous rooms = no problem. I am 99% certain "if there's a room in the class you're looking for and you have the points = no problem".

The Westin Maui should not be a problem if you book as far in advance as you can. We have not done multiple rooms, but each time we have booked an award stay, even three weeks before we were going there we have not had a problem. If you are going in the fall months of 2004 that will basically be their slow time, so that will be a win-win.

This is a very busy hotel during their peak seasons. I have been there then and it can be a zoo with families, so if you are going during a peak time book as far in advance as possible
