Starwood Preferred Guest - Change KLM Points to Starwood

Does somebody know of i can change my KLM points to Starwood points?

As far as I know, there's no way to transfer points into SPG from another loyalty program. The only way to get points in is via purchase or credit card partners like Diner's Club.

Plato90s is right. There is no direct way to move any airline miles into SPG. Some airline programs allow a transfer of the airline miles into a credit card account (e.g. Amex) and then from the credit card account to SPG. These are two transfers and you can be sure that each transfer will "cost" a huge number of points.

But does anyone know if it's possible to do the following....

AMEX points -&gt; SPG -&gt; KLM

I think I read somewhere that you can't transfer miles out of SPG that have been transferred in, but i'm not sure.

Also, can I transfer points from my SPG to my wife's KLM account?

Yes, these transfers are possible. Starwood : KLM is 2:1 (http://www.starwood.com/preferredguest/starpoints/transfer_ff_checkRoc.html).

No, but you can transfer them from your SPG account to her SPG account with few restrictions. Then she can transfer to her own KLM account. Please note that there may be some restrictions on this as well. Call the Customer Contact Center nearest you for exact details.
