Starwood Preferred Guest - Best Starwood in L.A?

Just looking for a great location in L.A. with some good Plat. perks to go along. Heard good things about the W, St.Regis though, has had a not so welcomed reception to it.

I have only had great experiences at the st. regis. I highly recommend it!

I personnaly love the W in Westwood. Very nice rooms, cool pool area and cute neighborood with great restaurants.

I have recently stayed at the st regis and enjoyed every day of it. may i also recommend the westin century plaza, exceptional service and hospitality.

Ditto about the comment regarding the Century Plaza and Spa. The customer service there is top notch!

I stayed at W Westwood before and it was my favorite one in LA...until I visited St. Regis last night. I asked a little hotel tour incl. their Executive Suite room which would be the best upgradable room for Platinums. Nice and spacious room...also the staff members were very professional and friendly. I would absolutely try there - hopefully sometime soon.

No question here, the W Westwood is the best SPG in LA. Nothing else is even close.

I'm 5 for 5 here on 3 room suites in the past couple years and they have always treated us great from the bell staff to checkout even with the kids (not a kids hotel but they sure try)

Will be trying out the W in LA tomorrow night and will let you know how thin the walls really are! Past posts have complained about the walls and sound.
