Starwood Preferred Guest - On Line Res. Bonus Points with Miles for Stay?

SW is running a public promo now of 500 starpoints for booking online at SW website for rooms at certain properties reserved between certain dates for stays between certain dates. If I claim airline miles for the stay (more beneficial than points for the stay), will I still receive the 500 online booking bonus starpoints? I see nothing in the T&C which says no, but want to confirm before I proceed.

If you ask to earn airmiles at check-in, you will not receive a web booking bonus.
