Hi all,

I had the pleasure to spend two nights at the Sheraton Bal Harbour in Miami Beach. It was an extremly low priceline deal (about 60$ incl. taxes).
Before I arrived, I asked via phone for a room with two beds. During check in I was told, that we were upgraded to an superior room on the SPG Floor, because only those had two beds!
Bottom line: Sheraton makes no difference between "real" and priceline clients. At the Hilton in Chicago some days before, we were only treated second class ("Two beds? Thats 25$ extra!").
Thanks Sheraton! I will surely come back...

I'm not sure you'd get consistent treatment from all Starwood hotels using Priceline.

I think that the Bal Harbour is a great hotel with classy management - that's why you were treated well!

I stayed at Chicago Hilton the other day on Priceline reservation. I was treated VERY nicely. Maybe it depends on the the front desk clerk?

Bal Harbour has an excellent rep of treating ALL guests, regardless of how much they paid or to whom. They are the best SPG property by far in this cat.

You did not mention if you got your starwood points and nights.
I understand that Starwood do not give credits for nights from these booking engines.
