Starwood Preferred Guest - Cheapest SPG property in LA and SF?

Hi,

Am considering doing the AA 6,000 mile promo, and was curious if any folks know -

* The cheapest SPG hotel in LA (around 16, 17 or 20 april)
* The cheapest SPG hotel in SF (around 16, 17 or 20 april)

Plug in your dates and it will bring up all the Starwood hotels in the area and their lowest prices at the time.

put in los angeles and the dates and spg.com tells u the prices of each hotel

You might also want to check Expedia or its cousins. I got the SFO Sheraton for $10 less than SPG back in February.

Your cheapest bet might be the 4P LAX.

In the San Francisco vicinity there's the Sheraton Sunnyvale which has been offering weekend rates for $49.

Actually the $49 rate has been at the FourPoints Sunnyvale. Sheraton Sunnyvale is usually $59 or $65 prepaid 21-day advance purchase web rate (although once in a while $50).

Unfortunately the dates mentioned are not weekend days.
