Staying in London next week. Business meetings close to Trafalgar Square. People have suggested the Trafalgar Hilton, but wondering if there is a Starwood that is relatively close (i.e. one or two tube stops or walking distance)
Thanks in advance!

My guess is the closest Starwood property is the Sheraton Park Lane, which is more than two tube stops away from Trafalgar Square.

My company's London office overlooks Trafalgar Square and I have stayed many times at the Park Lane Sheraton when I'm in town. It is only 2 stops away but it requires you to walk about 3-4 blocks to the Green Park station and change lines once(Piccadilly line from Green Park to Piccadilly Circus -> Bakerloo line from Piccadilly Circus to Charing Cross).
It's really not too bad though, and on a good day probably takes 20 minutes or less door to door.

Actually take your pick. . . Belgravia, Park Lane or Park Tower (or Lanesborough, for that matter).
The Sheraton Belgravia is on the other side of Green Park, two or three stops away or a fairly long walk through a big park and then a couple more blocks.
The Park Lane is Mayfair/Picadilly, which is closer, but many people don't like it as well as the Belgravia.
The Park Tower is also within striking distance, on the other side of Green Park near the Belgravia. Pros and cons about this hotel.
Tons of threads here on all of these hotels. Just search "London." You'll be busy all day.

You can actually walk from the Park Lane to Trafalgar Square pretty easily. I used to walk every day from the Green park Tube Station in fifteen minutes, so I guess you could make it twenty.
You take a left out of the hotel and walk down Piccadilly to Haymarket. Take Haymarket for a few blocks until you hit Pall Mall. Take a left and you'll be in the Square in no time.
IMO, this is a much, much better than being crammed into a hot, smelly and unreliable Tube train for a few stops.
