I agree with fly co's sentiments. I've been a bit disappointed in some of the things I have read here over the past few weeks, but I'm committed to staying with SPG this year and possibly beyond. I'm the type of traveler who can overlook changes in the program -- and some communications problems along the way -- so long as I know that the hear of the program is the same and the quality of the properties will be as good or better.
I won't switch to say, Hilton Honors, even if I perceive the program or choices to be better. I simply prefer the SPG properties in general and the type of service I have experienced with Starwood since joining the program two years ago.
