I am going to be in Seattle for the coming few months for work. My client is actually in Redmond, WA. Which Starwood property is the best to stay at? I generally love the W but not sure how far that is from Redmond. Any suggestions?

i like the W although it is pricey compared to the others. i stayed at the sheraton over thanksgiving weekend and it is nice. the lounge has a very nice continental breakfast with free newspapers including the NY Times. they have a nice staff, as does the W.
but, don't count on a suite at the W. i have never ever gotten one. i don't think they have many at all.
i generally think the W chain is nice but overpriced. i think there was a thread recently that the W in LA was more expensive than the St. Regis. no W should ever cost more than a St. Regis, in my opinion.

If your client is THE client in Redmond, $$$ is not your concern -- stay at the W. If you're going to be in and out for months, they'll get to know you and in my experience treat you extremely well. Fly CO is correct in my experience -- they don't have many suites, so don't get your heart set on getting one. Your chances of that will be better at either The Westin or the Sheraton, if for no other reason than because they have so many more. The Westin can also be nice (their rooms are the largest), it's in a good downtown location with lots of stuff around, but that's true for all three properties. If you're going to be there a lot, why not try out all three and decide for yourself who treats you best. That's what I'd do & make a point to meet the manager on my first or second visit so that he/she knows how often you're around. I'll bet Seattle could become one of your favorite Starwood towns!
Good luck & have fun. Seattle is a great town in many ways. If fact, I'm heading there this afternoon, myself.
I stayed at the Westin and W in Seattle this year, and both were very nice properties. I would prefer the W on my next trip for no specific reason, only that it's different from most of the hotels I frequent. The Westin is very nice but feels like a large convention type of place you might find in any big city. Both are in great areas, though.
Whatever you choose, if you stay in the city, you'll be a pretty good drive from Redmond. The traffic can be extremely heavy.

What area of Seattle is closest to Redmond and are there any good hotels there?
