Starwood Preferred Guest - Best use of Preferred Guest 50% Off Award?

I have two of these that expire at the end of December. I have some time off in November. I know it's a funny way to plan travel but where would I make the best use of these certificates?

I'm really quite open to suggestions at this point. Under consideration: Western Canada, Hawaii, Asia, South America... Next week I'll begin to narrow it down.

To narrow your choices down "a little" - the SPG50% off certificate is not valid in Hawaii (with the exception of the W on Oahu).

SPG50 are usually only useful outside North America.
