Starwood Preferred Guest - Interpreting Rate Details

In looking to book at the Sheraton Eatontown, I was reading the rate details for the club level rooms... private lounge, continental breakfast, evening hors... and then it said @$15 extra. Now I'm unclear as to whether this is 15 beyond the 137 room rate listed on whether it's 15 above the regular room rate listed of 122. Any help?

stevenl57, if you send me your confirmation number via email, I would be glad to look at the reservation and tell you what I can from this side. Otherwise, call the Customer Contact Center and ask them what it refers to.

The Starwood lawyers will contact your lawyers to interpret the rate terms. William will then translate them into English. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
LOL @ Eastbay. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
I've often wondered the same thing about certain rate/room descriptions. I usually just roll the dice, book whatever looks best for the price and hope I get it.

i really dug up this old thread for reviews of the Sheraton Eatontown--not to talk about rate details.
but, that's my own fault. look at the Topic title. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I stayed there for a day when I wanted to check out Red Bank. I had a room on the club floor. Nothing memorable; nothing bad, nothing good to really report, so take that FWIW.

yes, it is. great brunch in the Fall and Winter from what I hear. can't confirm.
the sheraton Eatontown is pure unadulterated cheese. very nice front desk. the entire staff was very friendly. i got a suite on the club floor with a Free Weekend. the suite has a jacuzzi (spelling?). but, the bed in this big suite is a murphy!! not sure about any of you, but a murphy bed, by definition, is uncomfortable. and, there wasn't even a fitted sheet on the murphy bed. so, when i woke up, i was basically on the mattress.
this room was hip in 1975. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
