Out of four recents stays zero of the platinum amenity points posted automatically. I have requested 2 of them already, of the other two stays nothing at all posted so far. Is that normal ?

If he would only take a PT job with Hilton to fix some problems with HHonors points posting for online res! fly co to see the yanks Apr 23, 02, 8:54 am i've had 100% of my amenities posted within a week. an amenity from this past Saturday (with a Sunday checkout) was credited today, Tuesday (two days later). Snowflake Apr 23, 02, 10:03 am Mine usually post within a week. When they don't a quick e-mail or call to my plat concierge gets them credited within a day or two. They would have caught up with you eventually. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif Best regards, William R. And I book online just for the points since I could get myself into trouble by not booking through our travel agency !! The company gets a comission back. christine Apr 23, 02, 4:36 pm <font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">Originally posted by Starwood Lurker: Well, one hotel did not credit automatically for two different stays, but the two others did. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif The hotel that did not post automatically sends theirs to be done manually by the affinity department. This is the first I've heard of any eligible incidentals other than what is already on the postings. You may want to send me an email with the stay details, the incidentals, and their amount in USDollars. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif Best regards, William R. The SPG/Amex stay bonuses also post after your stay. I've seen mine post monthly. -David -David LISAA Apr 24, 02, 1:07 am I stayed Saturday night and all points were posted by today. Starwood is usually right on time about posting, and an email quickly makes a correction.. I only wish Hilton were as prompt : ( Make sure your profile is up to date and I always show my platinum card at check-in. rl_toronto Apr 24, 02, 5:33 am A quick question regarding the Platinum Amenity. Are all stays, include Free Fridays, Free Saturdays & Cash & Points stays eligible? I had three such stays this month and was not offered such. Language/Communication difficulties made me "give up" at the desk. William? Thanks! peter42 Apr 24, 02, 5:59 am <font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">Originally posted by rl_toronto: A quick question regarding the Platinum Amenity. Starwood Lurker Apr 24, 02, 11:30 am That would be correct, peter42. Perhaps rl_toronto should contact Platinum Concierge to get any Starpoints we may owe him after the fact. Best regards, William R. All posted now, but still the question is how can this happen ? Starwood Lurker Apr 25, 02, 4:34 pm Probably it was confusion on the part of the hotels involved. Like we discussed off-line, some hotels have been slow on the uptake when it comes to Priceline stays and member benefits. The hotel coordinators will follow up with the hotels involved and they will correct the situation going forward. Best regards, William R.
