Starwood Preferred Guest - Any GREAT resorts in FLA?

Looking for a nice resort in Florida, preferrably Gulf Coast, and wanted to know if anyone has stayed at any and would recommend one for a nice weekend?

If traveling as family, the Sheraton Sand Key (Clearwater) is nice and service is great. I do feel it is a bit of s tretch to call this a "resort", however.

I have never stayed at the Westin Innsbrook, but have heard good things. I do not believe it is on the water, though, if that matters.

I would like to use my starpoints to send my parents on a nice weekend. They live on the eastcoast of South FLA, so I would like to send them somewhere either north or to the west.

Send them to the Westin Diplomat in Hollywood they will thank you for it!!!!!
