My wife has 60000 points that will be expring at the end of the month. Any idea on an easy cheap way to get activity on the account so the points dont expire. Can the points be transferred to one of my airline accounts.

Go to a restaurant at a nearby Starwood hotel. You will get points for that.

Spend $10 or more in a Starwood hotel restaurant - you need not be a guest. Present your wife's Starwood card when you receive the check. Do a search to find Starwood Lurker's comments on doing this - at certain properties, if you are not able to charge the bill to your room (if indeed you were a guest), you will not get credit. I repeat, however, that you do not need to be staying at the hotel to get the points.
