I've been trying to make a reservation at the Sheraton Chicago Towers right now. It took three minutes after I clicked the reserve button on the rates list to get to the next screen. It took five minutes after I clicked Confirm Reservation to get my confirmation screen.
Starwood Lurker, maybe you can pass this along to your web guys if they don't know already.

Thanks, pitflyer. I'll let them know, but these things are hard to pinpoint if it's a transient problem and not something that's a recurring problem that can be easily duplicated.
Also, it helps for us to know the browser, your ISP, and the equipment you are using, as well as a little more data about the reservation you are trying to make (i.e. special rate, dates, etc.)

Starwood Lurker: You're right; I realize it was kind of an asinine report to make. I'll keep you posted if it happens again and send you more details through your email. But as an FYI It was a new reservation for Sheraton Towers Chicago using a corporate rate.
