Starwood Preferred Guest - Did anyone get the 20,000 points for the 20 stay promotion?

Hi all,

Did anyone get the 20,000 points for staying at *wood 20 times this year yet?

Does anyone have a link to the rules for this promo?

Earned it a month ago, but I am not expecting it to post till the new year according to the T&C. Who knows though, as 1k per day is posting, albeit sportaticly, and it too is supposed to post in the new year.

I did a search and couldn't come up with anything (granted, I didn't try too many times).

What promotion is this? I do not remember this one.

The promotion is called "It Pays to Stay More". It was a direct mail offer. I found two previous threads where it is discussed:

The promotion isn't over until after December 31, 2001 and a sweep of the database for eligible members will not be done until four to six weeks after that. We expect that by the middle of February, all bonuses will be credited from this promotion.

I realize that I never heard of that promotion before, and did not received any direct mail about it.

Is everybody will get something based on past year stays/number of nights?.

I know the end of the year is coming fast and the promo was offered somewhere in April, but I would be very sad to loose 20K considering the fact that I've done very well this year with Starwood.
