Starwood Preferred Guest - Long Island suggestions?

If the Sheraton Long Island is booked, any suggestions on where to stay with decent access to the Farmingdale, NY, area?
The Sheraton at LGA seems the next closest, but I'm tempted to try the Suites in Weehawken, NJ, since the bigger room will be better with kids. I don't know whether to go with the better room or shorter drive.

Jersey is very far. NYC is impossible w/ a car. I suggest JFK or LGA hotels. They are right by Long Island.. Don't do Jersey...

I definitely agree with mypriceline. Jersey is WAY too far. The Sheraton LGA is actually located in downtown Flushing - which is a vibrant mostly Asian area with walking access to a ton of great Chinese and Korean restaurants as well easy access to the #7 subway for trips to the city, as well as the LIRR for trips to the City or to the north shore of the island. Unfortunately the LIRR line that it is on doesn't go to Farmingdale though - it is on the Port Washington Line.

If you decide to drive to LI from NJ, you have to pay $6 for exiting NJ, $3.50 for bridge crossing in NYC. So it will cost you $13 per round trip from NY to LI.
So stay in NYC or LI...
