Is the 500 Bonus for online reservations now effective? I could not find any mention of it on the website, only here in on the boards.

I was also not able to make a reservation this moring in the Westin site...it kept asking me to indicate my dates and preferences and hit "continue"...every time I hit "continue" it came back and asked me to check the same items! Never displayed any rates for the dates I did indicate, which were just a few weeks out. HELP!

I'm sure Wiiliam will be here soon to answer your question. Mind you- he works in Austin, and it's 8:30 there, and this is the second thread that's been posted about it in about an hour. Such excitement and anticipation.... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

We know it was posted here--that's how we all found out about it...the question is has it been posted on the website? (and there is yet another techincal issue regarding reservations I mentioned in the top of this thread).

Well, I just went ahead and reserved a room online for tonight. Since the T&C's for the promo (the ones that William posted. I too can't find anything on the website.) say that it may take up to 30 days to post, I am sure that we'll have an answer from William well before I will be able to offer any first hand knowledge.

Sorry, I scanned the posting too quickly.

The problem though in waiting to see the NEW promo of 500 bonus points is that Starwood still has the OLD Miles-by-Night promo. I called Starwood Web Tech support over a month ago to remove it from their site but it's still there. So, who knows, really. They're having lots of Web Site problems.

MarshKing, as far as I've understood, the bonus will post at the same time as the regularly earned points for the stay posts (similar to 50% SPG bonus for Gold&Plat).

Regular stays may take up to 30 days to post..

I may be wrong, however.

The promotion went live beginning today, so book away.

The bonus will be awarded to qualified members within 30 days after the stay. Your regular Starpoints credit should be in your account within 7 days of your check-out. Please contact the Customer Contact Center closest to you or send us an e-mail from http://www.preferredguest.com if you experience anything other than this.
